This hands-on, small-group workshop is designed for people who want to understand the essential foundations of photography so that the photographic memories they create have more impact.
You will learn in a relaxed and supportive environment. By the end of the session, you’ll gain the confidence to take greater control of your camera and start creating more intentional images.
Course Outcomes and Benefits
• Pre-Workshop Support
Receive helpful preparation information to familiarise yourself with your camera ahead of time, so you can get the most out of the workshop.
• Camera Access Provided
Don’t own a camera? A loan camera can be provided for your use during the practical session. (You’ll just need to bring your own SD card.)
• In-Workshop Experience
Theory Session (1 hour): A clear and accessible overview of photography fundamentals. This isn’t a “how-to” on specific gear, but a practical explanation of the key principles behind making a well-exposed image.
Practical Photowalk (minimum 1 hour): Apply the concepts covered during the theory session in a relaxed, guided photo walk. You’ll receive individual coaching to help you control your camera and capture images with purpose.
• Post-Workshop Support
Continue learning and stay connected through access to a private online group where you can:
Share your work and receive feedback
Ask questions and get ongoing support
Access bonus online tutorials and resources
• Small Group Format
With a maximum of four participants per session, you’ll enjoy a personalised learning experience with plenty of one-on-one guidance.
